Irish Web Hosting Servers transfer:

already have a Domain name:

.co.uk .org.uk names: There is no charge to transfer these names over into our registrar. But you will need to ensure that the ISP tag is changed to Enom at the present registry. (this can usually be done through the control panel you have with the registrar, or by emailing them to ask for it.)

.com .net .org .info names: There is a small fee for these to be transferred as the registrar will add an additional year to the registration. (€5.95) You will need to obtain the EPP key from the present registrar this can usually be obtained through the control panel you have with the registrar, or by emailing them to ask for it.) if you then forward it on to us we will initiate the transfer. These transfers work on a email confirmation basis so you will need to ensure that the Admin contact email address is set to yours or one you can access at the present registry, and that the domain name is unlocked.

.ie names: The IEDR are extremely strict regarding the transfer of a .ie domain name. it requires a signed letter including your registered company number (the same as to register a .ie name)

The IEDR (Irish Domain Registry) have strict rules which apply to the registration process:

As a .IE domain name identifies you as being Irish, or having a presence in Ireland:

.IE DOMAIN APPLICATIONS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A SIGNED LETTER OUTLINING THE APPLICANTS REASONS FOR OBTAINING THE NAME.
THE RELEVANT COMPANY NUMBER OR BUSINESS NAME NUMBER MUST BE SUPPLIED.

THE STEPS TO TAKE TO TRANSFER TO OUR HOSTING:

1) Complete our order form so we can create the hosting account

2) Upload your files to the new account using the servers IP 217.115.114.212 as the FTP host

3) change the Nameservers over to ours (as outlined above) at the present registry.
